Hey friends,
and here i actually mean friends as no one else will get this newsletter to their inbox. First of all I want to thank you for subscribing to my newsletter and being my first supporters. In the upcoming weeks, there will be new issues of snippets every sunday and hopefully they will help some of you.
The Conversation Myth 🗣
Knowing how to present yourself well is a crucial skill when it comes to establishing new contacts. However, this is sometimes easier said then done. A rookie mistake that a lot of people (including myself) often make is losing eye contact. It provides comfort for your opposite and shows that you are actually interested in having a conversation. So the next time talking to someone, observe your behaviour and try to act accordingly.
In “The Power of Strangers”, Joe Keohane writes about the countless opportunities people are missing out from, simply because they are too scared of talking to strangers. You never know which hidden treasures someone has to offer for you. According to Keohane, everyone has at least one thing that will provide value, you just have to dig deep enough to unveil it.
This will be my experiment for the next weeks, I encourage you to do the same and to let me know how it goes.
I’m still figuring out, about which topics or formats I will write about in Sunday Snippets, so you will see me experimenting a lot follwing the next issues. As for now, I am often inspired by a fellow medical student Ali Abdaal (aliabdaal.com), who also encouraged me to start a youtube channel as well as this newsletter.

a captivating book about the importance of talking to strangers and the opportunities you are missing out upon if you don’t
🎵 Drake Album: For All The Dogs
As a hiphop enthusiast, I enjoyed this long awaited album. It for sure isn’t in the ranking with Drake’s greatest works, but it is worth a couple of listens.
